    Good News Everyone

I found out last night that my aunts neighbor is a doctor that works with boxers(checks if there able to fight before they fight), and he is also a ring side doctor. This is great because I heard hes super nice and my mom talked to him on the phone today and she told him that Im interested to meet him and talk to him and he said no problem. I am going to my aunts house sometime next week and I will find out what time hes free. I know I know you guys might not care but one of my big fears is getting brain damage and not being able to function right when im like 30, but anyway my aunt has lived next to him for 6 years and im excited to meet this guy and I also heard he offered them tons of times free tickets to boxing bouts so this should be interesting

That sounds cool. He'll definately give you some good ideas and stats on the health hazards AND the health benefits of being an AM boxer.

Nice one on the free tickets, are we talking pro-shows or Am?? Either way - you should be up for some good nights out!

Thats cool if you get free tickets.
I dnt mean to sound like a prick but are you scared of fighting, because it seems in nearly every post your worried about getting hurt? I'd have to say amature boxing is quite safe it's alot safer than fighting in the street or even playing playing rugby for instance.

I picked up more injuries playing rugby then i ever have boxing.

You know alot of those guys who play wheelchair basketball are actually paralysed ex-rugby players. You can lose you legs playing that game.

Thats what i'm saying there are far more less obvious dangerous sports than amature boxing.
My cousin who plays rugby has broke his leg, arm, collar bone and his nose twice playing rugby where as i who boxes has never had any injury.

I am and have always been a health freak! I really care about my health and I hate it when people try to tell me"if you care about your health then boxing is not for you" yes it is! not every boxer has that **** it I don't care if I cant remember my kids names when im 30! I bet alot of boxers care about there health and body and once again not every boxer has that not care attitude.

Yeah post what the guy says because that is a big problem for me getting into boxing too. I want to but my parents are worried about brain damage. If he says anything worth hearing post it or send me a PM. Thanks man.
