    Sparring a southpaw

Any tips on defence and offense on sparring a smaller faster southpaw from an orthodox stance.

Left hook when he jabs and right hand leads all day..

Right hand leads really work well for me against southpaws.. and the left hooks to counter their jabs works good for me also.. plus after the left hook you can just pivot to the outside easily..

Also if he jabs you an slip and be right there set up for a left hook.. or uppercut to the sternum and/or body..

if you try these lemme know how they work for you.. They've made fights with soutpaws very easy for me.

Thanks for the information i was also wondering why it seems he can always time my jab and land a big uppercut or straight left hand right down the centre

get your left hook goin and try to forcem' to his left , when forcing left you might be able to get him into a strong right

I tryed everyones advice and it seem that ripping the right hand to the head and then ducking his counter then a wicked left to the body seem like the money combo. Seeing that my oppenent was a much more experienced fighter then i am he seemed to be able to time my jab and slip inside and tear me up any advice for that. And he caught me stepping in with a jab once and ****ing rocked me with a left uppercut
All i have to say is that i wont be doing that again, ouch.

If u put ur foot to the outside first ull 9 out 0f 10 times hit first which leaves him offbalance so if he does hit u itll prlly be all arm also you can step on his foot and throw a solid right hand left hook combo usually drops them or nox um off balance.
