No i've never taken them but my ex coach takes them and now he's suffering he's only about 30 but he's always haveing mood swings because of them and his liver and insides are ****ed up. I've also heard they don't do any good for boxing as they just sap your stamina so you get tired easy.
a roid that produces lots of mass should make you tired quickly but there's many other steroids, one that makes you shredded would probably increase stamina from what I understand.

I always wonder since they are supposed to increase edurance why Morrison tired so quickly. Surely he knew which kinds to ingest.
not all roids make u tired. most of the common roids like deca, sustanon, test, trenbolone, make u mad tired cuz they thicken ur blood so oxygen travels slower in ur body, but roids like winstrol, ******, halotestin, clenbuterol dont make u tired they reduce body fat and aid in endurance. i personally never taken any, but when i was younger i was fascinated with roids and researched alot, but i'm too scared to go though with it, even though most elite athletes are on the juice. i'm probly gonna get majorly flamed and yelled at for this, but my belief is that if everyone knows who an athlete is (casual fans, regular peeps, etc) he generally is or has been on the juice...
what did u take?
how did it work as far as boxing goes?
did u take it to bulk or to cut?
did u inject or take orally?
how many cycles and how long?
...thanks
Found my old workout notes. Lucky for you I just moved.
I took an oral version of Dianabol called Reforvit-Beta, which is 25mg of methandrostenolone and a vitamin B kicker for uptake. I put on 21 lbs in 6 weeks and kept about half of it. I did it again 6 months later, put on about 15 lbs and again, kept about half. I went from 139 to 160 the first time, and from about 155 to 170 the second. It stays in your system (detectable) for about 6 weeks.
This was when I was 23 years old, BTW. Nearly 15 years ago. I went from being skinny and cut to looking like a German experiment. I also developed road rage and an uncontrollable hard-on during each cycle.
It worked great but I would not recommend it to anyone.
My cholesterol is currently 225 and I've been eating like a boxer for the past 18 months. It was over 300 when I started boxing. Also, as soon as I quit being a gym rat -- like, 2-3 hours/day in the gym -- I started getting fat. I firmly believe the two are related; methandrostenolone is highly toxic to your liver, and I do believe mine is out of whack, particularly in regards to lipogenesis. I find that I can gain 5-6 lbs. in a week just by adding refined sugar to my diet. That is not normal; in fact, it is a sign of impaired liver function.
Steroids work; that's why people use them. But their use runs contrary to everything boxing is about, IMO. Earn it.
