fitness gyms are usually reasonable. i would say anymore than 50 bucks a month ur getting ****d. some are like 15 and some are like 40 so its a big range depends on how good the gym is. good luck.

it won't matter to you two, cos your on the other side of the pond. But theres a few Britons on here and i wouldn't mind knowing what they pay?

      My old gym was a pro-gym and a business, so it was £7.50 a week or i think £35 a month. Mon - Sat, 11am - 8pm.

I fight at a boys club now, i only pay £1 a day. Good eh? Although its only open between 6-8pm, mon - thurs.

my gym is 40 bucks a month

i guess thats a lot but considering that i want to fight competitively i consider the fact that my trainer will show up and be in my corner for the fight to be worth about half of that money.

if youre just doing it for ****s and giggles then it may not be worth that much to you.

Nah! i mean it was a boxing gym, but it had an extensive weights room too (alot of folk just went for the weight room). It wasn't like a fitness first type thing, it was privately owned by an ex-pro.

There was no induction fee or anything like that. They just had 3 different rates of pay : £3.50 for one single day, £7.50 for a week and £35.00 for the month.

Travelling to your gym of choice can be a ***** - i drive 25 minutes to get to my new gym, although i proberbly get my money back in the cheapness of the admission compared to the prices above, that i used to pay.

No offense but if I could get advice in US currency it would be very much appreciated. Or if you feel like converting pounds to dollars thats cool to. As for the Americans so $300.00 annual membership is real good. It sucks though because it is 300 but for all I know the place is a big **** hole. Thanks fellas.

Well if it helps anyone I'm paying 59 US dollars a month. Would like to get out of it I don't really like the gym to much there to focused on MMA and kickboxing to really care about there Boxing Program. And if anyone is interested its Knuckle up Fitness if anyone's heard of it?
