Ive been at this gym since January and Ive seen three bags fall, mine and the other guys two and we both happen to be hard hittin heavyweights. How come it hasnt occured more often in that time frame?
Why u getting so pissed off squabbs he's only saying the chains amy be faulty. Also it doesnt really matter how hard you hit the bag its whether you can transfer than power when you fight cause thats a whole different animal.

So let me get this, you ordered your top contender gloves, and all of the sudden you have a substantial amount of power that can break the chains holding your bags?

A professional heavyweights punch, generates 600-800 lbs of force, steel chain can hold thousands of pounds, even if your chains were rusty and deteriorating, you still wouldnt be able to break a ****in chain.. The leather on the bag would rip before so.. Take your bull**** fantasy storys somewhere else kid..

Just to clarify, a professional HEAVYWEIGHT (this all depends on weight too, since there's no upper limit here) can generate almost twice as much force as that in a punch, around 1200lbs. The chain's are just old and ****ty, so they break, it doesn't really have a whole lot to do with power of the punch, most of the pressure on the chain comes from just the weight of the bag, and then when it moves around. So if I started just pushing a bag around I could break the chain too maybe. There is some sudden force due to the absorbtion of the punch though, so the punch does have something to do with it I suppose.

But this is all a pretty ridiculous argument. Who cares...

Show me a video of someone breaking a bag off of a solid steel chain, a picture or any legitimate proof.. I highly doubt you'll find it..
