I weighed in at 197 this morning. It's the result of overeating with no exercise. I have a middleweight frame but no real hope of shedding more than ten pounds.

197??? holy ****, that's too much beef for me to carry around. i've been 197 and i have a middleweight's frame, now i feel really comfortable walking around at 175 or so, even 172 but i can't stay down there. this time, when i got under 180, some of my handspeed came back, that doesn't usually happen until under 175. it's amazing what effect two or three pounds have on the body

My entire adult life I weighed 165-170. Just this winter I put on the extra 25, though you can't easily see it on me. I always played soccer at least four days a week, but I retired in October. It's hard to get the exercise and I eat a ****load.

How much cardio do you do? I'm at my dad's house right now so I could use his treadmill in the mornings to hopefully start losing some.

i do a lot of cardio, i do what i'd do if i was boxing. i run 3 mi 2X a week, and stairmaster or real stairs every other day. the cardio really helps me keep the weight off, i also still do my shadowboxing and punch the bag whenever i can. i do plyometric pushups and i'm starting to get into the rossboxing stuff - burpees, the really hardcore training. when i get down around 170 i start looking like jeff lacy with smaller arms, well, jeff lacy's body with sean paul's face. i didn't fight like lacy though, i was a clone of nigel benn

NIgel Benn is a good guy to fight like . . if you can punch.

I'd like to try to fight like Joe Frazier but I could never do it. When I can get someone to lace them up with me I do more like a bad Winky Wright impression.

it takes a lot of balls to fight like frazier or marciano - swarmer - cause u know u're gonna have to take some shots, that's why there's not that many swarmers. swarmers also don't have long careers, it's better to be winky

i was just like the nige, except i didn't hit as hard, but i was a good puncher with the right hand and i had benn's handspeed at 160 ( when he moved up to 168 he was bulked up too much out of his natural weight ). trouble is, i wasn;t as good as benn and i had his weaknesses - average chin, easy to hit

It takes more than balls to move forward like a Marciano or Frazier. It takes rythm and timing. I can't even walk in like Frazier with no one standing there, but I do it in the mirror everday anyway.

marciano ( frazier's idol ) is probably the most underrated all time great. because he looks slow and awkward on film people think he just had brute strength, but when i watch the rock's old fights, and i have all his title fights, i see how skilled he really was, the way he would crouch under the jab when he got in close. marciano was also extremely hard to hit on the inside, your only chance to tag him is on the outside with the jab before he comes in or catch him with a countershot if you're still standing after he lands his. that's skills

i hear too many people say how ****ty marciano is and u only think he's great if you're white. well, i'm half white but that has nothing to do with what i think of the rock
