    VIDEO: Me shadow boxing

Ok not making up excuses but this was taken like 3 secs ago in my room, i feel kinda wierd taking videos of myself in the gym lol. Anyway really just took it to see if i can see what im doing wrong. One thing i notice is i lean forward alot of the time, another point is that my left hand sits far to low after i punch! Feel free to critisize lol. I want points on how to become better though not points on why i shouldnt box lol. O and another thing, feel free to comment on the cool Hawaiin shorts i selected for the video Gotta look good you know!!

You look alright its hard to analysis as you inside and its to close so you cant see your footwork but it looks quite good from what i've seen. How long have you been boxing for?

Ive been boxing for quite a long time now lol. I can never get an exact amount, about 5 or 6 months. I used to box though for 8 months and then stopped for 8 months and since ive been back ive been boxing for maybe 5 or 6 months. It could be longer!! Lol.

I agree it may not work the first time you spar but if you practice enough eventually it will come together.

No, if im better than the other guy i don't just try and kill him i try to pick my shots better just and not go full out on him. If the guy is beating me it gives me a chance to practice my defence.

You werent fully extending a lot of your punches, mainly your jab. Your left does look too low like you mentioned. Also throwing fast flurries like that may look flashy, but it does nothing for you when they arent thown right. Remember shadowboxing is mostly a technique drill. The goal is to throw every punch the right way, and work on your defense too. Since you didnt really have any space I wont blame you for that, but some head movement would have been nice.

                  Just my two cents.

Ok thanks for that. When i do have space i either move waaay to much or not enough lol so really need to work on that. Ive been told by a few people that i dont fully extend my punches i dont know why i dont listen, i think im just used to shadow boxing like that and dont extend fully, however i need to work on that. As for head movement, i rarely move my head so theres more to work on!!!
