hey i was in a simular situation, just keep focused and keep sparing try to watch him in the gym if u get a chance and look for certian things he likes to do also look 4 what he does wrong. then study it and p-ractice somethin that might catch him and for the rest of those dudes who can but dont spar just think ur one step closer to being the best, write now i spar a few pros and i used to get beat up but now im quicker and smarter and can give some pros a competetive sparrin match. just stick with it... + its better 2 be sparrin a pro rather than adude who u can beat up on u wouldnt get better.

Well I want to spar with a pro or at least a well versed am. It'll help you get better so just keep at it.

i like sparring the pro guy at my gym, its great experience and I'm able to hold my own just because I weigh 40 more pounds than him and I have good handspeed and power

If you are accumulating brain damage, you wont notice it. Thats the neat thing about brain damage, you cant notice it because the brain that is damaged cant tell. It why lots of fighters fight on and insist they are fine when everyone around them can tell they are not.

You most likely wont get brain damage from Sparing, but it is still a dangerous sport. But, if you are sparing with a pro, and he is hitting you a little to hard, I wouldnt be to proud to ask him to go a little easier on you.

Also, after sparing, ask him to point out holes in your defense, and how he was taking advantage of them. Its always good to ask your sparing partners questions after you spar with them. You have to make sure you get the most out of your sparing.

HAHAHA i love it. I can't believe you just noted the "neat thing about brain damage" as if it has some benefits! haha. Thats crazy.

Don't worry, you won't get punch drunk.

Count yourself lucky, your getting fantastic sparring. Its a great way to train and improve, you will learn alot more sparring with a pro than you would a novice. He maybe getting the best of you everyday, but those moments that you land a single punch, or get the better of him for one moment are the times which will win you fights against those who are of your standard at the moment.

                Count yourself lucky.

                  thanks man
ya your right on that one, whenever i landed a punch or two though it costed me because when i was hitting his body he countered with hitting my face or head and whenever i got a hit on his head only 4 times in 3 rounds
