You can do drills for one. Get a friend to throw straight jabs and right crosses slowly to your head and you slip these punches over and over again until it become solid. Do it so much, over and over again until it becomes second nature. You can never drill enough. Just keep doing it until the day that your in the ring and you do it without even thinking. THen you know its instilled... then practise some more so you make sure you never forget.

Also, slip whilst sparring, shadowboxing, hitting the bags. Everything. Keep that head moving in everything you do.

Practise, practise, practise, drill, drill, drill. If your not ****ing sick of drilling and practising then you've not drilled and practised enough.

I think those are both correct responses. But I think mickeys aswer is great. Drill and practice and spar with a focus on whatever is bothering you ad nauseam. This is the best way to overcome problems.

If you dont have a sparring partner, you can hang a slip ball from the cieling (very easy to make) and swing it back and forth. I use it every time i train for a couple rounds, throwing punches while im bobbing back and forth.

          Good Luck.

u like those slip bags? i never really got much work from them cuz they swing so slowly i dono maybe i'm doin it wrong but i doubt theres a wrong way to do it i swing em and slip and bob and weave under them and throw punches but it does nothing for me cuz it moves so slowly no punches come at u that slow. but if it works for u thats awesome!
