Well, I'm a rather new member here, as I've just recently got into the sport of Boxing. I'm currently 15 years old, going on 16 and I've recently gotten into boxing the beginning of this year. I recently picked up some gloves with a couple of friends, and we've been working out with each other and doing sparring sessions, while we ocassionaly have boxing matches with one another. The thing is that these matches are more like those matches where two wannabes just brawl and it doesn't really involve any skill. I really like boxing, so I've been thinking about finding a boxing gym and getting a trainer. The thing is that I don't really have any money, and my parents don't really approve of boxing, so they don't want to pay for the expenses which results in me having a hard time finding a place with a good price that I can afford on my salary. (Get paid 15$ an hour starting in the summer). Could anyone possibly provide some tips on how to find a good gym and trainer that's relatively cheap? Also, a trainer who is willing to train someone who doesn't really have any plans of going for the amateur boxing league. I really like the sport of boxing, and I watch matches over and over as well as boxing tutorials but I'm not really improving, so I feel that finding a gym and a trainer is the best step for me, but don't know where to start.
