  • footwork for left jab?

I was wondering if someone can tell me what the correct footwork should be for the left jab,I am happy enough with the stepping jab and pushing off the back foot but i'm a bit unsure what my feet should be doing if i'm not stepping? What i notice when i try to jab without advancing forward is that i have a tendency to want to lift my front heel and my back foot sort of pivots sharply in a clock wise direction,So am i doing it wrong? Any advice would be appreciated

I base my entire routine off my jab and I always bring my front foot up and then bring it down as I throw, even if I don't really move.. I just feel more power. Try flicking the jab as well, you'll feel it more even without the legs.

Your power comes from the ground. Push off your back foot and step to your opponent as your jab shoots out. All in one motion.
