I use Nike Air Max 360. They are great for me, and I bought my third pair after 3-4 months in between the others. That's with running 4-5 miles, 5 times a week . The thing is though, there are terms like "pronator" "neutral" etc. which refer to how your feet move when you run. Like do your feet roll inwards when you stride? Because of things like this you may need specific running shoes. I would do some research if I were you. Here you go...www.runnersworld.com

I run barefoot. I use to get shin splints. I started running bare foot. No shin splints no glass in my feet, no stubbed toes, nothing but pain free runniing.

        what?

I remember when I was like 14 I went to do roadwork for basically the first time. I ended up hurtin my knee and being in a ditch with a bigass stray neopolitan mastiff like 10 feet away barking and growling at me.

I went past a neighborhood into the dessert surrounding the ditch and I went around a little fence about to cross the bridge over the ditch and he was right there. It was like 6 in the morning in a drainage ditch surrounded by dessert and I was by myself so it was gonna have to go down. I knew If I ran he was going to chase me and get me from behind anyway so I just stopped and stared like waitin to see what he wanted to do, he just stared and then started walkin away barking. It was cool though cause Neos are like one of my favorite dogs cause they look badass. After he walked off I tried callin him to see if he would follow me but he wandered deeper into the ditch and would stop everyonce in awhile to bark at me.

Nike Turbulence is what i got, they are soo comfortable and you can buy something for your ipod that goes in your shoe which tells you how much you ran and how many calories you burn

Yep you heard me. I run bare foot. On concrete sidewalks none the less. I really think it is the only way to run now that I have tried it. for like the first week I got some mild blisters, but now I dont get any blisters at all. My feet feel good, my legs feel good. I dont get shin splints any more. My feet are actualy pretty smooth too. They are like a soft nappa leather.
