How heavy of a bag?

I'm new to the world of boxing, and about to purchase a pair of gloves and a punching bag. Problem is, I don't know how heavy of a bag I should buy. I'm about 6'0", 150 lbs. I'm not terribly strong, benching about 175. I'd love to hear any suggestions you guys might have.

Pacquiao hits a 125 pound heavybag and he only weighs like 130 so why not just get a 125 poudn leather heavy bag? your pretty big man.

I think I might go for a 100 lb. for now.... i've never owned one before, so my punches won't be real strong. What can I do to increase the "pop" of my punches? Will any lifts work or is it just a matter of reps?

do plyometrics son. also hitting a tire with a sledgehammer increases punching power

I'll actually be doing plyometrics over the summer anyway during football workouts... so that works out great.

ive got a 105lbs bag. and it swings soo much. i need to buy another anyway suggestions? what about everlast ??
