    I just started running recently in between my lifting days. What I'm doing is one day of distance running through some hills and then on a trail. On the next running day I'm doing sprints. Does this sound okay because I'm making up my cardio regimine as I go along.

    I am doing it pretty similar. I do weights 2-3 times a week (before boxing). Boxing and cardio (in gym) 5 days a week and running in mornings 3-4 days a week, epecially on the days off from gym. I try to mix the running up into some days sprints other days steady pace. I feel variety is key because in a fight their is gonna be times where you prod a bit and other times when burst. in my opinion of course

      Thanks. I think the combination of sprinting and jogging is really gonna help in the long run to keep me in better shape. Other than that should I be adding biking and other cardio to the mix or would that be too much? I already skip a lot of rope and stuff on my lifting days so is this enough or can I do more?
