  • What happens when...

    Say we have boxer A.

    And boxer B.

Boxer A is a great inside fighter with a killer uppercut.

Boxer B is an outside fighter.

Boxer B keeps boxer A on the outside for a while, but then boxer A gets in.

But as soon as Boxer A gets in, Boxer B falls over on purpose, so they the ref will start them apart.

What do you mean what happens? It counts as a knockdown, or maybe Boxer B is lucky enough that it is ruled a slip. Is there something else that's supposed to happen?

Well first of all, I would hope Boxer B would at least try to make it look semi-realistic. Take a knee after a body shot, or get a little off balance and fall.

I mean, I guess it's cheating, but it would probably have to happen multiple times for the ref to say anything. And if it's happening enough times that the ref makes a big deal about it, Boxer B is probably going to lose that fight anyways. Knockdowns(fake or real) hurt a lot(on the scorecards) especially in a close fight.
