  • My latest Sparing Videos 5/15, 5/19

    Hi I am posting some videos of myself sparing so you all can take the piss out. Well, actually so I can get some good critiques and tips. You can take the piss out if you like but at least try and give me something constructive.

    I'm the guy in black head gear, black and white glove and of middle size relative to the guys I'm sparing.

    First a young kid who seems pretty agressive and throws pretty hard, but would only go with me for one short round.


    second, a south paw. He said he was working on his defense but it was more like just letting me T off on him, which is ok, but it's better for me if a guy throws every so often.


    Lastly sparing with jay, he's a real big guy so I'm working on just getting in and figuring out what to do.

    A bit more headmovement maybe. As a matter of interest, what age are you? You should work on your speed and explosivness.

      kinda slow and stiff it looks like. you need to be up on ur toes more and get WAY more speed u throw punches very sluggish. what weight are you?

        Right points well taken. For the record, and a sorry one it is at that, I'm 35 and 190lbs. I noted that I was looking pretty flat footed and so last night I got up on my toes and it makes a world of difference in my movement. my head is much less stationary and my body is in and out much faster. Regretably I came back down after the first round. Guess it's just one more area of endurance I need to work on.

        I agree that I need to work on my speed and explosivness. I've stared doing clap push ups and some other plyometric exercises. I"m not sure how exactly to work on those thing other than that. Any thoughts would be appreciatd.

              nice videos mate. i like the look of your gym - the mirror by the ring is a good idea. The points already said are pretty much true - you don't look overweight, but i bet you'd speed up something rotten if you started to trim down a little.

              The first kid you sparred with looks real good.
