  • So i'm 176 and fighting on JUNE 2nd

My trainer walks in and says

"To get more confidence for your first Sunshine State Games(June 15-16) I'm gonna have you fight in 2 weeks..........The fight will be catch weight so you can be matched up to 10 pounds around your weight at the weigh in"

I was 184 *no ***** last week... I woke up this morning at 176.

Heres the diet. It'll consists of these things mainly.. probaly switched up a lil every now and then but nothing crazy from what i eat today.

I had special K this morning with Lowfat milk then Fruit Cup. (I'm cuttin the coffe until after the fights)

I'm gonna make a bunch of chicken legs and add that to my diet for dinner or lunch with loads of french string beans.(only 20 calories no fat for each serving of string beans )

I also brought some Bannana Bread Oatmeal(weight control edition) I'll be putting that in somedays for dinner or breakfast.

I have fat free 100 calorie yogurts that I'll be eating for snacks.

    Brought Bannanas also for snacks.

I have Vanilla wafers to satisfy any crazy craving I have(140 calories for 8 and 45 gm fat)

I'm drinking loads of water lately also.

Just wanted to see what you All think about the diet.. if its good or am I needing soemthing else?

Am I taking anything Vital out P-drun & Trick?

thanx but shape doesn't mean fitness.

And actually I'm hoping to get down all the way to 165 or lower so I can jus re-up to my weight and fight some idiot.

lol sounds like a Jermaine Taylor move i know lol...

The weigh in is like 6 hours b4 the fight so I should be able to do it.

As long as you don't start feeling drained after your workouts (more than usual) I think what you're eating would be fine... A doctor would always be a good person to ask though... Go get a regular checkup and just ask questions about your diet and how safe it is to consume so little calories and workout like a animal...

Your diet sounds like nearly the same as the one i've been on for nearly a month now.

Cereal and low fat milk for breakfast, low fat yoghurts for snacks, plenty of vegetables with no-skin chicken (sometimes i have some fish). Etc.

Its a good diet to get on, because you can pretty much stuff yourself with vegetables and fruits ( i prefer to eat a couple of oranges a day than bananas) so you don't feel hungry.

I've lost 16lbs this month. Although its my first month. My body is getting used it now, so i only lost 2 pounds this week. Going in the right direction though, and i'll soon be ready for amatuer season after the summer.

Go for it. It sounds good to me pal. Good luck in your bout, oh and remember to treat yourself now and again, otherwise... if you deny yourself too much, you'll just break one day and go ****ing mental. haha. you'll go and binge or something.

Your a teacher? No way... me too. What a coincidence. What do the kids say when you turn up with marks from sparring?? .

dude i would chuck a vege in their for some fibrous content. Take some brocolli and you can put a little pepper and olive oil on it and your good to go..may get some better performance out of the ole tank come fight time..make sure your taking multi vitamin as well. probably preaching to choir but what the ***?
