    I just do what ya seen in the vid.

    I probaly have low endurance for weights but I hit hard and im quick.

    I could probaly lift alot but only a few times.. compared to someone who weight trains..

    But no to answer the question NO Weights for me.. Just running.. push-ups...dips.. pull-ups.. and more push-ups.

        Footwork almost always improves when you become more proficient at skipping. Go onto Youtube and see the videos of Floyd Mayweather skipping. When you finally reach that level, your footwork will be as good as anybody's.

          As per foot work and getting in, you need to know what to do to get in. Obviously you can just walk right up to the guy but that probably isn't working for you. Here is an awesome post about getting inside.

            hmm.. I dunno about that one... I can do all the tricks he does minus the wrapping the rope around his thighs (because its kinda useless)

            And I dont think my footwork is as good.

              skipping definatley improves hand foot co-ordination, endurance and of course lightness of foot which is the key to great footwork, though to really improve footwork there is no better way than to just practice in the sparring sessions and when you shadow box!

              I have seen quite a few clips of Muhammad Ali skipping and I certainly wasn't blown away, it was pretty average! Though I think we can all agree that his footwork was rather good!!!

                  I never did skipping to improve my footwork.

                  At the gyms i've trained in we always had lines painted down on the floor where we would do footwork drills. It used to be routine at my old gym - the first thing you did was a couple of rounds footwork drill on the lines. Practising walking forward and backward and sideways whilst shadow boxing.

                  <------------- on my pic you can see one of the lines painted onto the ring surface.
