protein bad?

      I see your reasoning I suppose. But it's not that simple. You think Yao Ming only eats like 25g of protein a day?

        Hell, I don't know. All I know is what I read about that big study done comparing the health of Chinese vs. Americans. There is some weird things going on over there in China. Did you see that show on PBS about acupuncture in China? They showed this woman getting open heart surgery without anesthetic. Just stuck a few needles in her!

          Ya, well if you depress certain nerves you won't feel certain things, that's basically where it all comes from. Also, a non-athlete can make due with little protein, you can make 12 out of the 20 amino acids yourself anyways. But being an athlete changes all that.

          That being said, I will say the it's only beneficial until you get enough, which is what your need for the day. Loading up on protein will do nothing but bad things, and won't make you any bigger, just like loading up on more carbs than you need.
