As to whether your prior weight lifting experience is at the bottom of the problem or it is something else will probably require a some expensive medical advice to diagnose. Make sure you find the right people. Your family doctor probably doesn't have this kind of knowledge.
    thank you carbohydrates!

Hey, here is my revised opinion. I think each time you step up your training your going to find some part of your body is pissed off. Whether it's shin splints, ****ed up elbows or whatever.
I remember now that I got pain in my elbow when I first started doing a lot of shadow boxing and heavy bag work ( probably was over extending. ) Now my elbows hurt like hell! I've been sparing big tall guys and they block with there forarms and smother my punches and all sorts of **** and it's ****ing killing my arms and especially my elbows. I had to stop of a few seconds last night because my elbow hurt so much. I think I was about to throw a jab but he was landing something on my fore arm and that explosive movement which was completely stifeled hurt like hell.
Anyway, I think this is something some people just go through and if you step it down for a bit then you'll come out stronger once it's healed.
