hey guys, new to all this but is 20 too old to start boxing? i currently have a gym programme but it does not cater to boxing just general fitness, i run half an hour every day for a couple of weeks, are they any workouts with gym equipment that are really good for boxers? At the moment i do chinups, dumbell chest press, leg extensions and curls, 21s for the biceps, calf extension, rear deltoid things for my back, and a lumberjack thing for the obliques, is going on the rowing machine very good?

      how tall are you??

And i don't think 20 is too old at all. Give it a go, and if you train hard enough and dedicate yourself, by the end of the year they might even consider you for an amateur bout.

If you want to thrive in this sport it will take tons of blood sweat and tears. But persevere through it and you will find out a hell of alot about what you actually have inside of you..............Rockin'
