During my morning runs I used to battle shin splints than it was gasping for air. Now everytime I run I have to take a dump and my stomach hurts and I cant go as soon as wake up and I have to be at work early so this is serious quandry!

Are you running on an empty stomach? Are you drinking water before or during your run? I used to have that problem with water, for some reason.
Yeah i wake up, brush my teeth take a sip of water and run for 20 minutes or so pretty hard.
Well my problems had to do with water. I figured that it might be the tap water I was drinking. Maybe you could try bottled water. But if all you take is a sip, then I dont think that's would be your problem. Maybe it's your last meal of the previous night. If you havent releived yourself of that meal, than maybe when you run it's causing your to get the ****s.
Also bar b que boy, you shouldn't be having a real big dinner. You just want to get some protein in ya for healing purposes, not a lot of carbs as you don't need the energy to sleep. But you probably know this.
Anyway, I went through the first two stages of your plight so I can relate, as for the current, you just gotta train your body to a new ****ting schedule. try eating something that either makes you **** like crazy ( chillie or something ) or makes you real constipated, then your system will be all out of wack and you can try to regulate to a more appropriate time, say right after ***. Or you can skip the first part and just try and delay your turds a little bit more every day till you can make it to work or whatever.
Happy crapping I hope,

Danny, i think i've got a shin splint in my right leg. Atleast i think i have... at the moment i'm assuming thats what it is... what do they feel like?
At the moment i've got a aching pain in the middle of my shin which only really aches when its under heavy pressure (like skipping on concrete) or running... is that a shin splint? Or is it something else.
Its only in one leg. What do you reckon?
As for you problem ... why not take some toilet paper with you and have a **** on the roadside haha.
Yea, that sounds like a shin splint to me. What you should do is strech your lower legs really well by standing with your toes on a step and letting your heals drop down lower then your toes, and also find a way to sort of force the pointing of your toes motion. that is try and make the top of your foot parallel with your shin. this is the opposite motion of the one above. or hell just look up some stretches for your calf musles. other than that you either rest a lot or work through the pain a lot.
good luck
yeah you probably have a shin splint. Start by stretching your calves and the fronts of yours calves or shin. Than you can some strength exercises for the front of calves. Anything to make them burn. I found that after awhile of stretching and strengthening the pain gets less and less. Initially i was at the point where i couldnt walk much less run. If you are gonna run with splints its much easier to run on grass than pavement and MAKE sure to get a good runners shoe and throw some inserts in their to absorb the shock. Thats where the shin splints and lower back issues come into play. The Vibration-trauma from hitting the pavement. Hope this helps. Also Hazmat 10-4 on the no carbs for dinner. However try carb loading once a week I find it beneficial for overall training and keeping metabolism up.
thanks peeps. I gotta sort this out. I am getting frightened that i won't be able to run anymore or move effectivly.
I will stretch more for sure, i gotta get rid of that pain.... plus i'll get some decent running shoes. I reckon thats proberbly where the problem has occured.
