    So, your weekday routine is

    30 min in the morning
    2-3 hours boxing
    2 hours weights
1½ hours of transportation for training

    Total 6-7 hours a day

    And you're in college?

Haha, PunchDrunk, I get the vibe that you don't like me, I don't know why, I've always commented that you're one of the most knowledgable people on these forums.

After thinking more, it's rarely more than 2 hours of pure boxing, only when I've got a lot of spare time to I do three. Also, I guess it's more 1 1/2 hours of weight-ish training, only 2 if I have no school work to do that day. The gym I do that in is right downstairs though, so there's no travel time involved.

Ya man, honestly, I don't go to class a whole lot... Luckily, science is something you can learn from a book as well. I do ok, but I must say, I've grown quite adept at writing exams, so I guess I have much better marks than I deserve. So being in university, while my schedule's kinda all over the place, I actually have more free time than a 9-5 job. Also, that being said, there are many times it does not work out so well, lately, as long as the schedule even goes down properly it's a good day, regardless of how the training itself goes.

But in the end, ya, 6 hours a day is a decent enough estimation of what my full workload is like. It's not easy with school and all, but honestly, I feel much worse goin' on sparring after get smashed right in the liver than staying up late studying, so the academic pressure isn't too bad. The fact that I live on campus, have a gym downstairs, and am just plain lucky on exams helps too. Also, as long as the bus ride can be, I just crack open a text book, so I get some studying done then. Not too mention my friends help me study come cruch time... as in now, I have an exam tomorrow, but decided to go with the full day today anyways...

Haha, we'll see how it goes tomorrow...

EDIT: Also, the morning stuff I do early, like 7am (ok I guess that's not too early) so that doesn't really "add on" to my day so to speak.

No man, I have no problem with you. I just challenge what people say, when it sounds like baloney. No matter who they are. And it still sounds pretty far fetched to me... But hey, let's see if you ever get a degree that way.

Haha, ya I guess it sounds kinda ridiculous, I mean, it is. Today for example, I have three hour exam, so I'm not boxing at all, after the exam I might workout a bit, but it's not gonna be very intense. The annoying thing is, I can't accomplish what I want in school because of boxing, and I can't accomplish what I want in boxing because of school... But my dream is to win some kind of title in the amateurs (provincial or something) and get my honours degree. Kind of a strange goal to lay down, but it's just something that I really wanna do.

fridays basiclly my rest day, drink a lot of gatorade. 2 things a day, the rounds calculate themselves for amount of time spent. but as far as the rest. i spend about 30 minutes on ab roller, runs last about 45 minutes or under, weight training lasts about half our or a bit longer.. and thats it!

once i get in my gym my whole schedule will change, but this is good for now

When I was amatuer it was 5 days a week about 1-1/2 to 2 hours a day.

                    Pro was 6 days a week 2-1/2 to 3 hours a day.

When fights were close we would go to alternating days of two a day work outs. Run in the morning, train at noon and then again at 6pm.

If you wanna fight best be in some supreme shape........Rockin
