  • Training advice.

    Hi guys,

I'm from the UK and am hoping to start working out soon-by May. I intend to join a gym. I am not especially fat but do need to tone up. I am particularly interested in developing my pectorals and toning my stomach.

I am wondering if there are any pills/tablets that can assist me by either chemically stopping the body from absorbing fats or increasing my metabolism to I burn more calories when I do work out.

    Thanks,

I would suggest you stick to hard work and good nutrition and forget the pills. Chilli increases metabolism I think

Oh I agree, I have a solid work ethic when I commit to something. But anything that can speed up my progress, within the law, is welcome.

        IronNick,

        Where can I buy "stacked".

Before you start going to your gym, Just start doing sets of push ups and sit ups and also try shadowboxing and skipping, all these exercise will help tone you with the push ups helping tone your uperbody and the sit-ups giving you more defined abs

How long will it take realistically to get toned pectorals and a flatter stomach. I'm not looking for award winning muscles, just firm defined ones.

A month or two If you are dedicated. once you join a boxing gym sit-ups and press-ups will be common as will skipping and running which will all help you on your way
