Broken toe? How'd that happen?

A heavyweight (superheavyweight? Big boy, well over 200 lbs.) either kicked or stepped on another heavyweight's toe. Total accident. My understanding is, the impact bent the toe backwards. I saw it; the toe was black and swollen, definitely broken.
