What do you think is better when youre sick? Doing a light workout and sweating it all out or staying home and resting it off?

Do whatever feels comfortable to you.
Although you need to excersise to metabolize all that ****ing sick.

I worked out while I was sick.. but only lifted weights. I never worked my ass off, just did sets of 8-10 of the same weight I would usually do 10-12; in other words I was giving 80%-90% of what I would usually do, and I added a little extra break in between. But do whatever fits you.

Actually working out or doing any sports activities while you are sick is very bad for your heart and liver. They put much more pressure on it, while it is already trying to fight off the illness. Can worsen your condition, so I suggest to rest a few and comeback healthy.

I'm just going to rest it off. I worked out hard on saturday. Took a break sunday, when I got sick, and yesterday which was monday. Today, tuesday, I almost feel back to normal, but still a bit tired and fatigued. I'm just going to rest today and get back tomorrow.
Oh yea, BrooklynBomber, I agree with what you said and I think that's true. Once I tried to workout while I was sick and it was horrible, not only could I not work hard, but any little push and punch made me feel like collapsing, and the next day I felt like fainting.

i usually just do a light workout ...try not to rest too much except at night..gotta try to make sure i get a good nights sleep...should drink alot of green tea
