well when I was little my dads freind had a son who was a 6'8" white guy that my dad helped get into pro boxing, so I was hanging around the gym since then and eventually started wanting to do it. I technically started around 12. For the most part though, I have been working my self, Ive had two trainers but one was only three sessions and the other was only about two months. Six differant gyms closed on me. So basically my dad showed me the basics and Ive been training myself at home and in and out of the gym since I was 12. I had lots of fights and slapboxing to try to make up for sparring.

My left hand was sore at first.. Now they both are! Damn.. Ima take 2 days off.. Im mad though.. I don't wanna take a day off!!!!

i think I broke my right hand awhile back (about 5 months). I had a canvas back filled with three bricks that I hit for years and I hit it wrong and a shockwave of pain went through my hand. It still hurts now, my wrist pops when I move it, it hurts still to do pushups, I used to get these weird warm sensations on the back of my hand, I cant move it around as much, not as strong in certain positions, sometimes it hurts hittin the bag, and theres an odd bump on the back of my hand that isnt on my other hand.
I didnt have insurance so I never got it looked at. its too late now probably. Same with my left foot, I was chasing after somebody who stole something (I used to work loss provention) and my foot came down side ways and I heard a pop and I couldnt walk on it for a few days, it hurt for months and there was a weird warm feeling and swelling, it doesnt hurt now but there is a bump.

I hate the feeling. I was getting frustrated at the gym.. I see everyone throwing power shots with there left hand and I can't even do it without it hurting. I mean I still through it.. I just don't wanna damage it more than it is you feel me? The bag I be hitting is ok. Thing is im used to throwing alot of body shots.. and at the bottom of the bag, it's solid for some reason. I hit that **** mad hard as soon as the bell rang. I think that's where I ****ed my wrist up.

Now at the gym its great cause everybody complains about how hard the bags are and that they are crappy and like hittin a wall. To me they are nothing and I wail on the bottoms like nothing.

Yea man.. That bag sucks.. It's because everyone else uses the other backs.. Theres one huge ass bag.. Looks like 200 pounds or some ****.. and the rest are the same.. around 80 or so. Theres one that is like 60 pounds I think.. Im not really sure.. But everyone be using them ****s.. and leave me with the rock bottom one. I noticed also that everyone around my weight have smaller gloves.. They look like 12 Oz or so.. Probaly 10.. Im over here using 16 Oz and ****. It's all good though.. I get a good work out everyday. These 16 Oz are gonna feel like 2 Oz gloves once I get used to it and fight! I just hope my wrist heals up. The bags at my gym are ok though.. theres like 10 of them.
Im not doin it guys. I wanted too, I even ordered a competion headgear and outfit and all kinds of other **** and was trying to get alot of sparring and everything, but today I talked with Merqui Sosa, another trainer, and the owner of the gym. Ine of the main reasons I wanted to do it was because I thought it was gonna be a one time oppurtunity at the gym and that I couldnt miss it, the owner said they are going to start doing it every month. Sosa was telling me its too short notcie and that Im not ready cause I havent worked with a trainer and I couldnt do it if no one is in my corner. The other trainer was sayin that Im good and could do it, itd be better to do it at heavyweight instead of super heavy, the owner said theres no rush and that I should have a trainer.
I think now I might not go to the boxing gym as much and focus more on losing the weight for now. Then go back in better shape and definatly not 260 pounds since Im only between 5'7" and 5'9"
I went to the owner to ask him if Im just supposed to show up or if they are gonna tell me if they have an opponent for me. He asked me who I was training with and when I said no one he b asically said I needed one. Sosa said it is too short notice cause he hasnt been workin with me. So I really dont have an option.
