Visit all of them, even if you have to pay a few bucks for a day pass at each. Get a feel for how each is run, how the fighters respect their trainer, and how well equipped the gym looks. A little extra money (and they might let you look around for free even) spent in the begining will help you make the choice that's right for you.

Go to the Queens city boxng club. If it's bad so what. It's life. Just have a talk with her.. As a matter of fact go to the gym and see what it's about.. Go to all 3... Which ever you feel comfortable with then go to that gym.

just tell her you are going to one of the other gyms and then go to the one you want to go to anyway, its not like shes going to want to come with you is it?

Doesn't matter what gym you go to.. TRAIN hard... your starting out.. and if you've already started.. get so good that no one in the 2 close gyms are near your talent level.. then you can worry about asking your trainer to set up sparring sessions with the :"BLACK GUY": gym...

          Theres your answer.

Well I've made up my mind.

I guess I'm going to try to convince my mom one more time to let me go to the Queen City Boxing Club. If I can't at least check it out down there, I'll go to another gym.

Gyms don't make the fighter anyways I suppose.
