    Are they better before a workout or after?

    I would say after, since your body has been depleted of minerals and vitamins from a tough workout.

        Anytime is fine. Taking them before a workout helps you throughout it, taking it after replenishes the vitamins that depleted. I personally spread my vitamins around the whole day (protein shakes and bars instead of pills).

          Animal Pak says 30 min. before a workout. However their "time released" and thier is 11 pills in one animal pak.
          I stoped takin a pak everyday, now i just take them on workout days. Thats a lot of pills to choke down, 3 of them are huge. On my off days i take a GNC mega man SPORT. Seems to work okay.
