    about the heavy bag?

I just started using it about a week ago and I love it. the thing is I only use the heaviest one. is that okay? I would ask one of the trainers but since members only gotta pay 30/year I kinda feel like they have a right not to care.

IM not sure how much it weighs but I know the 2nd heaviest is 1001bs and I would say this one is at least 30lbs heavier.

The heavier the bag the more strain that will be put on the joints and tendons in your arms and shoulder. Besides the obvious run on sentence, dont put young ones on the heavy bag. Its not good for them.

Being older you have to think of things like your prior workout regimes and such.............Arrrg!

I'm gonna assume you meant 100lbs, not 1001... If you're a big guy, you should be alright. But honestly, if I was a trainer (which I am not), I wouldn't put a new guy on something too heavy. Even now, I don't really use anything over 100lbs (I'm 155).

        Peace,

as long as u dont hurt your wrist while doing it or your hand. to me the more it weighs the harder u wanna hit it to make it budge hence making your power better

like versatile said, be very careful with your wrist. i hurt my wrist the other day for exactly that, using a very heavy one, and traying to hit it harder and harder. so make sure you do a good warm up.
