    Recommendations for Heavy Bag

I'm new to boxing and thinking about getting a heavy bag to pound on.

What brand and type do you think is best suited for a beginner. And what about weight of the heavy bag, 50, 70, or 100 lbs? 20 yrs old 5'11 around 165 lbs.

Also what do you guys think of double ended heavy bags?

I have an 80 pound bag, it was a biatch to hang by myself. It's an everlast, pretty good. I got a stand in my apartment.

Never used a double ended bag.

Nothing less than 90lb. So i would say a 100 pound bag should be fine. Dont get a stand or a double end. Not yet anyway. Start with a good heavy bag and work from there.
