Just had my first one to one session at a boxing club I've just joined. Always loved watching boxing and grew up with a few amateurs so I've always wanted to have a go.
I've been lifting weights and playing competitive sports for over 10 years but I can tell you I've never enjoyed any of them as much as I enjoyed the hour and a half of boxing training. I stand at 6'3" and weigh in at a muscular 17 stones (238 pounds). The coach told me I pack a mean knock out punch and have good ability at 27 and was surprised that I'd never boxed before. I can't wait for my next session and can't wait to put my body through the gruelling process of being involved in the sweet science of pugilism!
