You do look ripped but sit ups alone wont work. Try these for a more full torso workout. http://www.abs-exercise-advice.com/b...exercises.html For your sides do oblique V ups.

How much stronger could you possibly want them?

If you're getting winded while getting hit, you need to learn to breathe. Your abs should be plenty tough enough if that's actually a pic of you. You need to breathe out when you get hit, and squeeze your abs down tight to force the air out while resisting the punch, then take a quick breath in while you cover, evade, parry, whatever. If you try to hold your breath while you're taking bodyshots, you'll be ****ed and no amount of situps in the world will help you. I just figured this out like last week. Keep breathing and learn to take a punch. It will hurt until you figure it out, so go figure it out.

I think side crunches (left elbow touching right knee might work) well seems like it will. I got those muscles but dont know how they got there.

Well don't play yourself down man, you're in great shape by the looks of it. You could make an impressive boxer, just to try to be a big man, and spar the heavies at your gym.

            Peace,
            Trick

P.S. Try some weight crunches/other ab exercises, they help develop a little more strength, if you feel that they're weak, and can't take punches. Fraidy's right though, a lot of it is breathing. It was more of a joke around spar, but I breathed out on a liver shot, and I was down for a few seconds.

My trainer has me doing a lot of ab work with medicine balls. We're on the incline situp bench a lot with medicine balls. He stands about 10 feet away and throws me the ball, I go down and come back up with it and then heave it to him, and we keep doing it . Then he'll have me catch the ball and hold it out in front of me and twist from side to side with arms stratight before doing the incline situp. It has really seemed to work. I think heavy medicine balls are a great part of a boxing workout.
