I know, because mine are just over 14" and they look about like that -- although I don't hold have to mine out with my fists. I'm 5'9" and 175 lbs.
I am 5.8 and a half and mine are about 14 as well, maybe more cause I never do the measurements. But I got my pic in the get in shape contest.

There's been a few too many bodybuilding threads in here lately... Steroids and whatnot. Take that crap over to T-Nation, this is a boxing site. :|

At my biggest in HS I was 5'9" and 220 lbs with biceps a shade under 17". They were a hell of a lot bigger looking than the ones in your avatar. How tall are you?

            1. If you're a boxer, and you're thinking about the beach right now, that's a pretty good indication you won't be a succesful one.

            2. If you train seriously as a fighter, there's NO need to worry about GETTING in beach shape, because you'll already BE in beach shape.

            3. Boxing has it's place. This is it.

Conclusion: You're not a serious fighter, and this thread really belongs on a BB forum (or an off topic forum), not a boxing forum.

Sure, but so does soccer, athletics and Counter Strike, for that matter. Where do you draw the line? I see this as a nutrition and training forum for BOXING, not bodybuilding. soccer or other sports. Weight training has it's place in boxing training, and usually that's what weight training threads are about in here.

I realize my previous post was a little harsh, and it should be viewed as a tongue in cheek observation (ie. not superserious), but I do think there's a limit to how much BB crap like arm size and steroids should take up in here.
Edit: To expand on that, saying stuff like "boxing has it's place but.." in THIS forum? That's basically what I reacted to. Like beach bodies are more important than boxing in here?

i do see where you're coming from, but bodybuilding is associated with boxing to a degree. something such as soccer has no place here, but as far as bulking up goes, im sure alot of people on here are glad to see the threads/posts.

I am not a boxer at all, I am a retired amateur with a broken body that is only trying to get it fixed.
