  • help me out here.

    im fightin in the golden gloves next week and i weigh about 190-195 pounds. I was wonderin what the range for my weightclass is as a amatuer fighter. I'd be a crusrweight if i was pro. is it the same deal for amateurs or what. if someone could help me that would be great. Thanx.

    My understanding is, 200 lbs. is the upper limit for heavyweight in Olympic-rules amateur boxing. That means your opponent could be anyone from 179 lbs. up to 200 lbs.

      I think 179-200 is heavyweight and 200+ is super heavy. Cant remember exactly.
