Question about sleeping

My sleeping patterns are all ****ed. i get 3-4 hours sleep on night shift, 4 hours sleep on afternoon shift and 7-8 hours on day shift. my shifts change over every week. Whenever i do physical hard work after 4 hours sleep i tend to lack the spark i would normally have on the weekend- i still work extremely hard but i just don't quite get the zip and tend to feel sluggish at times.
