Me and my friends got picked up by one of our buddies who lives just outside the city. I was sitting behind the driver's seat in a huge ford excersion truck with 4 of my friends. We were heading down the highway in the country probably going about 45-50 mph an hour (Roads were in bad condition from snow) we had sweet home alabama playin decently loud, everythings going good... then **** goes bad. My ****in idiot buddy goes to overtake the car infront of him (the huge truck was only in 2wd) and it just so happens that he overtakes right at the spot where they stop salting the roads as this was right at the city limits. So he lost all traction and was jerking left to right hard trying to stay on the road and not hit the car that was right next to us. He was swiriving for what seemed like 5 seconds which is pretty long... until the car next to us sped up a little and right as this happend the truck jerked to the right just barely missing the back end of the car that was speeding up and we were heading right for a big tree stump going about 50-55 mph. We hit it head on and came a dead stop and man it hurt like hell. Nobody out of the people in the car were hurt. My friend smoked his head off the back seat and had a very minor concussion, my other buddy sitting in the middle back seat minorly hyper extended his elbow, and i just have an extremely sore chest because i didnt really brace onto anything i was just sitting all the way back on the seat and it hurt A LOT when the seatbelt locked on pressed very hard on my chest. Were ****in lucky as hell nobody was hurt because it could have ended up much worse. Pretty eye opening because last week five 17 year olds all died in a car crash and we were five 17 year olds that all survived a possibly fatal crash had we not gone straight on to the tree stump. Had we got hit on the side it would have been bad. My buddy has pics of the most likely ritten off truck on his cellphone but i dont know if he has the cord to put them on his comp. My chest is so damn sore ill probably have to take a week or two off boxing
