I agree with this if your starting out your using muscles you haven't used in a while, so when you start lifting, for example doing bicep curls your targeting in just on your biceps which is going to cause them to do more work then there use to.

how long are your arms sore for after weights?

I dont feel burns/soreness next day anymore ever...
I just feel tired, no energy, but my muscles are never sore.

Just to end this thread, soreness will vary from person to person.
It will depend what you work out, how long you worked it out in one day, and whether you did light or heavy weights.
It also will depend on if you work-out regularly or if you just started.
Your food intake before and after your workout will also affect it, as well as the amount of sleep you get.
And one of the biggest factors is your genetics.

was just about to say that, if you've only just started lifting they will ache the next day anyway until you get used to it. alot of people always tend to over do it when they first start weight training aswell which could be why.
