Versatile, I can see from your clips that your strong and I know that you train hard and give what you have but just understand before doing this, that going from novice to open with only a bout or two under your belt could be dangerous. In the open class you will mostly run into straight out dogs that have been fighting for years already. And when you do lock up with these cats you might find that your natural strength is being nullified by their abundance of skill and time spent. Its your choice, but I would recommend rolling with the novices until you get a little more under your belt. I know that either way you'll give 'em nothing but hell but still, make the choice wisely................Rockin'

another reason im thinking of doing it is because i was thinking(since i really dont fight fully amateur like)fighting similar to frazier with **** load of bobbing and weaving to fend off all those wild punches amateurs throw.and when im close enough let loose with counters and close compact punches. if i do that long enough they will just start throwing just to land something on me and then i can turn to countering and just counter what they throw and corner them all the time.to me i have a pretty fast bob and weave at 175. and im in going to fight at 152 which will make me alot quicker.

but im still thinking about it. i wanna make some sort of name for myself and its getting late in age(for me it seems like it) ive been boxing and sparring for 3 years now, so its just a thought ya know

i am so relaxed while i am fighting it scares me!!! i fight more like a pro i try to throw combos and jab alot. i am getting better everyday so i know what you mean when you say you dont fight like an amatuer.

if it was me, i would stay in novice...but you got serious talent in goin on in boxing BUT your 22, so i would go to open and try to get recognized in there before its too late

and remember guys i have new shoes(able to sit on my punches and do my defense correctly) so make the votes count.ahaha
Novice. Im sure this won't be your only chance for the Olympics. But at the end you make the dicicion. Just remember in the open class there are some talented tough fighters with more experiance then you.

LOL! That ain't no damn downfall man. Give me 22 back and i would not have quit. Stick with boxing for a full year, and i mean do the tough training nessacary to compete at a high level and see where you are at by the end of the year. But no bull****, and run one time, train 50 percent, sparr 50 percent. **** no, hit the better gyms with your coach and get that tough sparring, makes you a better fighter, but you have to do the training and running. Good luck with what ever you decide.
