  • Time to hang up the gloves

    Severe concussion after my first sparring session(4rds), due to my trainers making me fight someone bigger and more experienced than me AFTER I had done a day's workout(I did ask to spar when they though I was ready though, I guess I didnt realize how ill prepared i was). 5 weeks with no physical activity allowed.

    Maybe one day Ill make a comeback, but for now it seems my brain isnt cut out for this sport.

      Get well soon man, concussion is something not to be overlooked. Take good care of it.

        Didn't you just post something about quitting or taking it easy or something? Yeesh, talk about bad luck. Hope the best for you man! In the long run, you'll probably not regret the decision to quit boxing! Your brain cells are probably celebrating as you read this. :]

          i always have an asparin on days of boxing, as it thins the blood. and will stop any head pains..

            That sucks man about the concussion. Though you gave it your best shot and you have nothing to be ashamed of.

              i gave my friend a concussion after i tackled him in the hallway at school he broke my collarbone though. anyway good luck and be careful
