    Bags and Stand

    Hey guys,

I've seen this setup on the everlast site, I was wondering if you guys had any opinions of whether this would be a good purchase or not. Heavy Bag & Speed Bag Stand- http://store.everlastboxing.com/ever...bag-stand.html . To me it looks like there's not much room to move around the bags, due to the supports that stick out. This would be for a "boxing gym" that I'm planning on putting in my house next school year, considering that in Canada, a good boxing gym that's not some ******ed "boxfit program" is impossible to find, not to mention expensive. So I would need this to work out pretty well. Any advice would be awsome, thanks guys,

this is the stand that i personally use in my bedroom. You're right, the purpose of this stand is specifically for convenience- no drilling holes into your wall/cieling. The way i placed it in my room i can only work maybe 25-30 percent of the bag at a time- with the rest being obstructed. I chose not to use the speedbag portion (no room for it) This is definatly not a setup which a pro should be training on but its good for someone like me who needs something to hit a few minutes a day

hmm ya, thanks for the input, that's kinda what I've been thinkin'. Basically when me and my roomates move into a house next year, we'll be settin this up in the basement, and this also seems like a relativly cheap solution. Does anyone have any suggestions about setting up a heavy bag and speed bag in a basement? I would like to move at LEAST 180 degrees around the heavy bag, because I do find that to be important. The speed bag, I don't really mind not being able to circle. Anyone out there have a similar setup in their basements or anything?

      Cheers,
