No, in our gym, when the trainer says stop, someone pulls out a gun and puts an end to proceedings good and proper.

The thing with boxing is that you have to be professional when your nature isn't to do so. Human nature when confronted with these scenarios is to go to survival, but survival is just a copout for being lazy or being afraid to be great. Instead, you have to dare to be great.

About a guy who has been there 2 years and you've been there only 2 weeks, there is nothing you can do but try to get some work in. Don't drop your head in there, a lot of n00bs tend to do that. Just keep your eyes open and try your best to work on what your coach is telling you.

Fear is part of the game, but once you get used to being in there and realize that you aren't going to die, you start getting better. Besides, with all that experience the kid has, the trainer won't let you get beat up.

My trainer used to put us in gym wars to see where our hearts were at. It chased a lot of kids away from the gym, but the ones that survived came out to be real good talents. Stick with it and you'll succeed. And always remember to do your best.

I substitute fear for anger often times in the ring, but it's all about controlled rage. If you let it consume you, you will look very amateurish and like you have a learning disorder.

it doesnt work for all people.

Fear is alway there you just have to know how to control it.

if you fear getting beat up train harder.

I remimbered it worked for Roger Mayweather against Whitaker Knocking him down but not out. but also sometime you game plan goes away if you are angry and you get all emotional
