  • Whey Protien and Glutamine?

In addition to creatine, I've also been supplimenting with 600 mg capsules of l-glutamine. Recently I picked up some whey protien, I don't remember how much each serving is since I tore off the label and threw it away, but I think it's 20g of protien per serving. Anyways, since I take about 2 servings per day, should I continue to take my usual 2 capsules of l-glutamine a day? Or do I need it? I'm 19, 6', 160lbs @ 9% body fat.

You should continue the L-Glutamine. It will help with recovery and protein intake will be better.

Sounds like you are in pretty good shape. Whey is a good general source of protein. Creatine has nothing to do with it. The aminos, like glutamine, all have special functions.....

I just noticed that the whey also contained glutamine so I wasn't sure if I needed to continue with the l-glutamine or not.

Whey and glutamine are too different things. They had to add the glutamine to the whey. They are both OK. I don't see a problem myself......

Both are good just dont get carried away, whey is not used in place of normal food just a little added edge.
