I don't understand why boxers end up being angry at each other. I think that any boxer who becomes angry at another boxer for something that occurs in ring on a normal basis (that doesn't mean biting someones ear) shouldn't be boxing, its a sport, you are sportsmen, there should be no hostility at all.

This post is tottally off topic, and I honestly think I am going insane.

My friend John didn't even break a sweat, mostly everyone there was in top condition. The rounds were like 2 mins each, the only overweight person there was that big guy. My friend John didn't know how to box but he was fast as hell. Mostly everyone there was either in football basketball or track and they work you hard at my school. Towards the end of the fight the guy I was fighting didn't move much, I let him hit me a couple of times just for the hell of it but it didn't hurt. Do they make 10 ounce gloves? Cause I think we were using that

so are you the only one that boxes out of your friends?

try to record it next time you do it again.

of course they make 10oz. gloves, mostly for amateur competition and professional fights.

who's gloves were they? i bet it's a cheap glove with minimal hand protection purchased at a local store.

you should use amateur competition gloves if you guys still want to use competition size gloves.

but, to be safe, i'd go with 14-16oz training/sparring gloves... and with headgear/mouthpieces. there's no coaches/trainers around when you guys are doing backyard boxing, so i hope someone stops the fight if it gets too dangerous, ya know?

I don't really box that much, my friend Albert got into boxing recently. I learned when I was really little how to box like when I was around 4 or 3 yars old. My dad was a trainer/ amateur boxer. I think one of his friends won a belt before, I don't know what weight class though. When I was little he'd take me to the gym a lot so I saw a lot of amateur fights and sparring. He taught me how to punch and everything, so I still remember it. We were boxing in the front yard on the cement. Fighting with face shots was optional, but since we didn't have any headgear or mouthpieces and most of us were friends we chose not to. They might hold another tournament but I don't know when. Yeah the gloves were pretty cheap, they were my friend Albert's. I hurt my hand a couple of times because of how there was no protection, I want to buy some hand wraps. Do hand wraps work well?

depends on the handwraps, mostly everyone uses the 180 inch mexican style wraps.

also, try asking your dad for one of the correct methods of putting them on.
