our sessions are an hour to an hour and a half. we start with 15mins of jump ropes, 5mins shadow boxing, 3 rounds x 5mins drills(everyday drills are different. ex. clinch work, blocking/countering punches and kicks, etc.) 3-4 rounds x 5 mins on the bag(everyday different combo/drills) we have 2 fast bells one in the middle and at the end(ex. x amount leg/body/head kicks, x amount punches and pushes, etc.) then 200 knees on the bag, then squats, lunges, push ups, mountian climbers, situps. and we're required to run 5 miles a day.
thats just the basic routine. if you fight you have to do that, then spar, then thai pads.Comment

i started out in kung fu, then went to san shou (chinese kickboxing with throws), migrated into muay thai, and started boxing with sanshou but now do it exclusively because i moved.
my workouts were very similar to i3raintwo.
mma.tv has a nice muay thai discussion board where my old coach and teammates hang out.
axkickboxing and defend.net also have some good stuffComment

mauy thai would be a great cross-trainer for boxing.Comment

Normal training for me is a light run then some shadowboxing, stretching, padwork and/or partnered dutch style drills (with gloves and shinnies) then sparring.
Obviously theres some conditioning stuff too, normally bodyweight exercises and medicine ball stuff, but i only really bother with that in the weeks leading up to a fight. Also run intervals (6x2 minute running or skipping with 1 minute breaks) in my own time but again i only really start running seriosuly when i have a fight coming up.
How about you omega? do u train or fight thai? Anyone wanna share their records? mines 6-3-1. in that theres 7 c class (3x2 minute rounds, no elbows or knees to the head, no padding) and 3 b class (5x2 minutes elbows to the body knees to the head). I hear it works slightly differently in the u.s wot r the rules and organisation like there?Comment
