im not sure about our trainers anymore, there is 4 of them and they all seem 2 dissagree on things they teach us

for example,1 trainer says the jab is not a power punch,it should be quick and fast and unseen.another trainer says we should twist the left foot and hip movement to make it powerfull.another trainer says use all the ring and move alot on ur feet and be quick, and another says stay in close and just use small head movements, its not like they are tryin 2 teach us different ways of doin things, cause they ****in argue over how it should be

My trainers do the same, and now I train differently around each to keep them quiet. Ha.

Usually I just do my own thing, just when they take me in the ring and do some pad rounds I switch my style up. I counterpunch with one, blow the pads away with the other, quick foot movement with another. Now when I fight I can do anything because they all train me differently. Look at it as a strength. If they were all training you the same you wouldnt have the diversity.

I found I was getting frustrated like you though, when I first started. Like with me there was the whole issue about what I should do with my front foot. All my trainers were telling me different things and I had 4 like you. One was telling me to point it towards the target, another was telling me to move it to the side a little to not stand so square on etc.

In the end I just said **** it and did my own thing. Now they don't even comment on my style and gameplan because it works and whenever they go to throw a shot at me im out of the way and ****ing shots to throw straight back at them and even catching them clean in the face sometimes. I know that's not the aim but they move into my shots or move the target mitt right in front of their face as they are doing it so quickly.

I knocked the glasses off one of my trainers with a jab once. Revenge for all the bodyshots he likes to throw at me whilst im not looking.

Well maybe because there is a power jab, and a defensive jab. One is meant to be powerful while stepping in more and rotating the shoulder and body, while the defensive quick jab is quick and keep your opponent way from you.

yeh, fair enough,i get what u mean, but with it being early i find it hard to addapt to 4 different styles so early, its just frustrating when they comment on u doing something and when i say but the other trainer said somethin or other,i get a slap round the head, hahaha

Yeh, knowing 2 jabs is a good idea. I can see why youd be frustrated though. Do you tell them that they say different things
