  • How do you like to fight? Smart and agile or rough and brawling?

I like to fight smart and to be agile but around the last thirty seconds of the round, or whenever my opponent gets sluggish I love to be rough and just brawl with him and slug it out. How do you like to fight?

It depends.. I live to be rough and brawl when it's some new kid. Im talking about street boxing. But if i do start boxing i will change my style to Smart and Agile... That's how i really am. I could be agressive, but not all the time. I wait for the right moment.

I'm a feint-and-fight type of guy. I wanted to be a Mayweather-style boxer, light on my feet and dance around,...didn't happen. I work the jab and then feint my way inside and brawl it out. After my first sparring session I learned the hard way that I can take some punishment, and I have more power than my size suggests, so I use it to my advantage.

Yea man, thanks. I went back and all the guys were talking to me about "We're glad your back, but try not to use your face as his punching bag next time." They gave me the friendly razz for a while, but it was all good. Since then I've worked a lot on parrying/slipping, and coach says I'm doing better.

I'm a brawler. A flat-footed, close-guarding, shovel-hooking pain in your ass, Stretch. I like to get in close enough for you to smell the garlic on my breath, where almost everyone else hates to fight.

"A fistfight in a phone booth," as a guy at my gym says.

I knew you'd say you were a brawler, fraidy. We expected nothing less. Hehe.

Well, the ballerina / super-jock thing ain't my style. Tried it, I look ******. Once my back heals up I'll work more on boxing and less on brawling but for right now close brawling works okay -- everyone says they hate sparring me because I fight so close, so I guess that's something.
