  • uhhh oh!

    i used to lift weights but then i stoped cause i was too busy,for about 1 week and a half. is that bad like did i jus waste all those times of excerise or is it ok to do that?

    As I understand it your body will begin to regress after 3 days. If you have been working for awhile before hand youll be fine................Rockin'

      That's not really the truth with lifting weights.
      Some people go to the lengths of advising 1 week off after every 4 to 6 weeks; and even 1 whole month off after 4 to 6 months.
      Powerlifters actually take MORE time off when they start to plateau in order to be able to reach new personal bests.
      Lifting weights is not like cardio.
      Recovery time is at least 50% of the game.
      If you can't recover from your workouts then you're just being counter productive.
      A week off here or there can actually help you out.
      Just make sure you're lifting more than resting.
