    2 More Boxing Questions

Do you guys prefer to have your fists clenched for the entire round or just at the moment of a punch's impact? I've heard arguments for both strategies. What do you think??

Also, since I've started training, I've noticed a peculiar crackling sensation at the point where my collarbone meets my sternum. It's completely painless, but still a disconcerting sensation. Anyone else experience anything similar?? Any supplements or adjustments to my training regiment I can employ to remedy this malady??

    Thanks and keep fighting.

When I'm boxing, I have my fists loose and relaxed, then when I am planning to throw a punch I will tighten it. I just feel more relaxed if I do it this way. And if you don't clench your fists when you punch, it's pretty much like a ***** slap and I think it could seriously damage your hand.

Can't help with the sceond one though, sorry.

Whoever keeps their fists clenched the entire fights a moron. That is how you stay tense and get tired faster. I dont even notice when my fists are clenched any more but usually only clench them before a punch and have them open to parry.

my collarbone does that too. i don't know what it is or how it started, but as long as it doesn't hurt i don't think its a problem.
