Good thinking by Wlad, but I seriously think he should take on holy in January for an easy payday.

Wlad being recognized as the best heavyweight of this era is more important to him than money. Another thing that separate's him from all the American boxer's.

BTW There is no ****ing way that homeless looking mother****er muhammed would be able to pony up 20 million dollars for this fight. He should go and fix his ****ing teeth before he speak's of shelling out 20 million for anything.

I know that, but Wlad could still take this fight and not be too off schedule.
          and its 20 million!!!
If I were Wlad I would call muhammad out to see what happens.

i think wladamir should try and get his mandatory against ray austin out of the way in late jan/ early feb... he could then set the unification for late april and not have to worry about being forced out of it

I do not know if Wlad would fight a couple of months after his last fight. That has not been his pattern since 2000. Now he average's 6-8 months in between fights. Especially now since he suffered the cut from the headbutt against Brock. Chance's are he will probably give that some time to fully heal.

I would also like to see him get his mandatory fight out of the way. I prefer he fought Austin early March and if he wins, then go after either Valuev who probably will have already fulfilled his mandatory against the Chagaev/Ruiz winner or go after the Briggs/Sultan winner.

This fight has mismatch written all over it. Maskaev is a sitting target. Wladimir will always beat a stand-up stationary target who is only looking to land the right hand.

that also sounds like briggs. maskeav did actually throw and land some descent thudding lefts against rahman. but I agree that its pretty much a mismatch against wlad. way too much speed for makseav to contend with
